Mara is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with minors in the Study of Family Life and Spanish. She is passionate about clean energy and hopes to pursue a Masters and eventually a career in Environmental and Sustainable Engineering. When not doing homework or research, Mara loves to bake, read, hike, paddle board, and sleep.
Research:
Mara joined the underwater acoustics lab in Fall 2025 and began a project researching the acoustical impact of underwater tidal turbines on their environment.
