Desired Qualifications
  • A BYU student, does not necessarily have to be a physics major or minor
  • Desire to learn how to code or take measurements. Don't worry if you have never coded before: we will teach you!
  • Able to put in 5-20 hours of work in a week

What our Researchers Do
  • Students in the measurements group use robots to take measurements then use code to process the data

  • Students in the computational group apply machine learning and/or evaluate models

  • Students can prepare to go to national conferences

  • Students can contribute to journal articles
