About:
Ben is currently pursuing his Master’s in Accountancy (integrated program) following a Bachelor’s in Accounting with a minor in Physics. He began working in the Underwater Acoustics in 2020 (with a 2 year break to serve a mission in Rio de Janeiro).
Ben is originally from Waco, Texas. Ben plans to complete his degree, and, after a few years in the consulting field, obtain his JD as well. He enjoys hiking, photography, music, and spending time with his fiancée Abbie.
Ben has accepted an entry-level position at the consulting firm Alvarez and Marsal in their Global Transaction Advisory practice. He then hopes to obtain his JD and practice law.
Research:
Ben’s research focuses on further improving the Underwater Acoustics lab environment and verifying its ability to execute specific types of research and measurement protocols. He is currently developing a UR10e-assisted protocol to determine source directivity of transducers within the tank environment.
